- We were supposed to leave at 4:00 pm. Estimated time of departure … 7:00 pm. Off to a bad start due to work issues, problems at the board game store, and getting lost on the way to the dog boarding place.
- Headed out to Great Falls for our first stop
- We saw the world's largest Diet Coke can on the way up and had to stop for a photo op (see below)
- Mom accidentally told us the wrong exit so we went 13 miles past our hotel at about 3:30 am. YUCK! Apparently texting in your sleep doesn't work so well for giving directions.
Saturday, June 27th, 2009
- Up and ready to go at 9 am. A miracle around this household.
- Headed up to the great white north and we were all SOOO excited!
- Lunch at Swiss Chalet in Lethbridge … DELICIOUS!
- Moseyed on up to Edmonton slowly but surely.
- Had just enough time to take the kiddies swimming and they had a blast
- Lexi’s life jacket gave her a bad rash and she pooped in her swim diaper and didn’t tell us. I discovered it when I pulled it down with my thumbs stuck inside. Yuck.
- Late night donut run looking for a Tim Hortons turned into a disaster as Jeremy led us on a wild goose chase. Ended up with some mediocre pizza instead.
- Got some rest in preparation for a big day of West Edmonton Malling on Sunday.
